Happy Gas

Here at Beaumont Hills Dental we provide inhalation sedation also known as happy gas or laughing gas. Happy gas is simply a gas that is administered by our team which provides a relaxed state of mind. The effects of happy gas take a few minutes to take effect and the level of sedation can be increased or decreased as necessary.

IV Sedation

Intravenous (IV) sedation is a form of sedation dentistry administered by an anaesthetist. It is also known as Conscious or Twilight sedation. During IV Sedation, small amounts of medication are administered until the desired state of sedation is achieved. Once the effect of IV Sedation take effect, you will feel virtually no pain. While in this state, all of your reflexes will remain intact and you will be able to breathe as you would normally.
